Gino Rocco

Gino is a Professional Trustee specialising in all aspects of pension law focusing on defined benefit and defined contribution occupational pension schemes that range in size from the small to the very large.

A solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales and a Member of the Association of Pension Lawyers, Gino has over 18 years’ experience gained at City Firms such as Mayer Brown, PwC and at national firm DAC Beachcroft as well as a leading pension consultancy practice. He joined Dalriada from Doyle Clayton where he was a pension partner.

Gino’s experience includes complex benefit interpretation issues, scheme equalisation and benefit rectifications. He has detailed experience of pension issues arising under TUPE transfers and the Fair Deal protections where employees are transferred from the public (in particular LGPS and NHSPS) to the private sector.

Gino’s expertise enables the Trustee to minimise the need to call on legal advisers. When legal advice is required, as Trustee we are able to ask the specific question and insist on an opinion rather than receiving a recital of pension law.

Gino is Accredited as a Professional Trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
