James Smith

James provides support to our Dalriada.Together Trustee team. His previous role within an employer relations team for a specialist pension provider gives James deep insight into the pressures and issues of the sponsor. He has assisted with S75 buy outs and support with monthly contributions and deficit recovery plans.

This balanced perspective is utilised in how he presents and records key information for trustee meetings and liaises with advisers, as well as creating meaningful communications for members.

James believes in developing strong partnerships with external stakeholders such as advisers and employer contacts to ensure smooth running of the Together Schemes.

Outside of work he regularly attends Sheffield United football matches as well as clinging to his playing days with weekly 5 aside fixtures. During summer he spends his weekends playing cricket and travelling, preferring a sunny beach location.
