Marcin Balawender

Marcin is a Professional Trustee with a solid, over 10-year’s grounding in the industry and experience in providing specialist governance services to both trustee and corporate clients of various types and sizes.

Marcin is Accredited as a Professional Trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees. He is an associate member of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI) and a holder of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) as well as the Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK.

Prior to joining Dalriada in February 2018, Marcin had worked for a large actuarial, investment and pensions consultancy in London, where he gained strong background in both DB and DC schemes. Marcin looks after a range of Dalriada Together schemes, both in a sole and co-trustee capacity and supports the overall day-to-day operational management of that portfolio.  He successfully delivered, among others, risk transfer projects, liability management exercises, rectification projects, complex valuations, investment transitions and adviser tenders.

Outside of work Marcin spends more time than he would have wanted to doing DIY around his new place and, strangely, beings to enjoy it. His number one passion, though, is Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
