In Memory of Lisa Lenehan: A Tribute to an Inspirational Colleague and Friend

2nd July, 2024

  • We are tremendously sad to announce the passing of our colleague and friend Lisa Lenehan on Monday 24 June.

Lisa was an accredited professional trustee and had lived strongly and well through a cruel and rare form of lung cancer (ALK+) since diagnosis in early 2022. She never let her illness cast a shadow over a conversation or asked outwardly for anyone’s help or support. And, alongside this, Lisa was an ambassador raising awareness of ALK+, and supporting the community afflicted by it – always putting others before herself.

Lisa was a strong, courageous and inspirational woman. One of the very best of humanity. She brought light and warmth to every interaction. Lisa would literally have done anything for anyone and was an absolute stellar trustee.

She was a consummate professional and brilliant member of our team – working as hard as anyone in the business right up until very recently; Lisa would not countenance letting colleagues down.

We have lost one of life’s very best people: a dedicated wife and mother; a hard-working and exceptionally capable professional; a caring warm, selfless and heroic woman of great strength.

We know that she will be missed by all that knew and worked with her within our business and the wider pensions community.

Our thoughts are with Lisa’s husband, children and wider family, who we are working to support as best we can.
