Andrew Mullin

Andrew works as a Pension Administrator for Dalriada. His role will be to work with members, and the FCF, to work towards having a successful compensation claim for members who have been the victims of a scam.

Having worked in pensions administration for over 7 years he has developed a broad level of knowledge of various DB pension schemes. He has a good understanding of how to complete various different calculations and has a good eye for detail when checking work of other members of staff. Andrew also has developed good project management skills, having had to lead various different projects during my time at XPS.

XPS – Senior Pensions Administrator – December 2020 – May 2022 – peer review of work of other members of staff, creating admin reports and presenting these in meetings, periodic project work including scheme returns, renewals, and pension increase projects, as well as other and hoc work. Corresponding with members and Trustees to answer queries or resolve issues.

Deloitte – Pensions Consultant – June 2017 – December 2020 – calculation and settlement of members benefits, dealing with day to day member queries, payroll reconciliation, working on periodic pension scheme projects, drafting client reports and attending Trustee meetings

NILGOSC – GMP Project Team – June 2016 – June 2017 – calculation and reconciliation of member benefits which include GMP tranches, corresponding with HMRC regarding queries on member GMP benefits, discussing rectification of benefits with members and addressing concerns or queries, updating database with accurate member benefit details.

Andrew enjoys socialising with friends, going to the gym, and loves to travel. He is an NFL fan and follows the Atlanta Falcons (who haven’t been very good in a long time).
