Jana Sicak

Jana is currently a Support Professional Trustee at Dalriada, bringing her extensive experience in pension management to the role. 

Prior to joining Dalriada, Jana served as an in-house Secretary to Trustees for a public sector open Defined Benefit (DB) scheme, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing secretarial activities, liaising with scheme advisers, administrators, and stakeholders. She spearheaded a significant pension reform project transitioning from a Final Salary to a Career Average Revalued Earnings Scheme, showcasing her project management skills and ability to navigate complex organisational changes. Additionally, she fulfilled the responsibilities of a Finance officer and held secretarial roles in other internal committees, demonstrating her adeptness in budgetary and governance monitoring.

Before her tenure as a Secretary to Trustees, Jana accrued nine years of experience as a Pension Accountant within the same organisation. In this capacity, she gained comprehensive knowledge of pension administration, managing day-to-day operations of the Scheme, ensuring accuracy in quotes, managing the application of pension and salary increases, monitoring joiners and leavers, and overseeing audits and internal payroll processes.

Furthermore, Jana has volunteered as a Trustee for a closed DB charity scheme for the past three years, further solidifying her commitment to trusteeship and enhancing her understanding of the intricacies of pension schemes.

She is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, and is actively working towards becoming an accredited professional trustee.
