Karl Sidebottom

Karl, a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, brings more than 30 years of invaluable experience to the Dalriada team. Serving as a Support Professional Trustee, Karl is distinguished by his keen attention to detail and his adeptness in navigating complex projects.

In his capacity as a Support Professional Trustee, Karl shoulders a range of responsibilities, ensuring compliance with statutory timescales, monitoring regulatory requirements and overseeing the timely execution of meeting actions. Additionally, Karl plays a crucial role in addressing member queries forwarded by the administrator.

Rejoining Dalriada in November 2023, Karl’s journey includes serving as a Technical Consultant for an in-house pension scheme boasting assets exceeding £1 billion. Prior to this, he held the position of Team Leader for an administration team within an actuarial and consulting advisory business, managing both member events and scheme projects. Karl has also accumulated significant experience in providing scheme secretarial services, making him a well-rounded professional in the pensions industry.

Beyond his professional commitments, Karl finds joy in socialising with friends and family during his spare time. A dedicated football enthusiast, he passionately follows the team he has supported since childhood, indulging in the sport whenever his schedule allows.
