Stephen Soper

Stephen Soper is the Managing Director for Business Delivery and Operations at Dalriada Trustees Limited. With a distinguished career spanning the pensions and financial services sectors, Stephen brings a wealth of expertise in regulatory oversight, strategic development, and operational leadership.

Before joining Dalriada, Stephen was a Partner in the Pensions team at PwC, where he played a key role in advising Trustees and Corporates on complex pension matters. Prior to that, he spent six years at The Pensions Regulator, where he held several senior roles, including Executive Director of Defined Benefit and interim Chief Executive. He started his career at RBS international and his other experiences includes various executive positions at Zurich Financial Services and Aon.

At Dalriada, Stephen is responsible for overseeing business operations, developing the firm’s operating model, leading strategic projects, and driving effective change management. Working closely with the Dalriada Executive Team, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company continues to deliver exceptional trustee services and remains at the forefront of the professional pensions industry.

On a personal note Stephen is married to Vanessa with three children a dog and a flock of chickens. When he isn’t fixing the house, he likes to spend time cooking, travelling, cycling and dabbling with cars.
