William Gold

Will is a Pensions Manager within the Dalriada Pensions Management team. With 15 years of experience in the pensions industry, Will has served as both a Regulatory Specialist and an In-House Pension Manager and now provides governance support to a range of pension schemes at Dalriada. 

Before transitioning to the pensions field, Will had a successful career at HMRC, where he held various roles in Tax Enforcement. His expertise as a Pension Compliance Specialist span both Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) pensions. Will is adept at ensuring regulatory compliance, offering clients key insights that promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. 

As a qualified Risk Practitioner, Will excels at identifying risks and opportunities and providing advice on pension matters across all stakeholder levels. His focus remains on supporting governance while prioritising the financial wellness of pension plan members. 

Will’s extensive career at The Pensions Regulator included roles as a DB Funding Case Manager, DC Governance Specialist, and Employer Compliance Investigator (Automatic Enrolment). Before joining Dalriada, he was Amazon’s Pension Manager for the UK and Western Europe, where he enhanced scheme governance standards while balancing the commercial needs of a rapidly growing business. 

On a personal level, Will is a dedicated father of three young children who all enjoy the great outdoors.  Will is a keen runner, basketball enthusiast, and regular gym-goer.
